DELIVERY & RETURNS

  • Upon receiving your delivery, please inspect each item carefully to check for damage caused in transit. We inspect each item before we dispatch and every item is sent out in perfect condition.

  • It's your responsibility to check each item upon receipt and reject if it's been damaged in transit.

  • The delivery staff often request that you sign a form confirming the items are in good condition. Once you have signed, the insurance cover ceases. If your item is damaged you must notify us within 24hrs so we can arrange a replacement. 

  • Failure to report damaged items within 24hrs will void the return. 

  • All items can be returned within 14 days in an unopened unused condition and in the original packaging for a full refund if it's a stocked piece.

  • If we have made a special order a 30% restocking fee will be applied.

  • The postage cost is down to the buyer so please contact us for a returns reference before sending any items as these will not be accepted and could result in a delay for refund. We strongly advise that you send items back on a tracked service as we can't be liable for any lost returns.  

  • We require a mobile number and email for our courier/delivery service who may contact you on the day of dispatch, we cannot give specific time of delivery it will be between 07:30 - 18:30 and if you miss the delivery they will leave a calling card. Please note: After 2 failed attempts the item will be returned to our warehouse and further charges will be applied.

  • Every time you order items from us, the Terms in force at that time will apply to the contract between you and us so ensure you read and agree to them every time as they may change.

  • All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

 

  • All images on the website are for illustration purposes only and are intended to give a general guide of how the product may look.

  • We cannot guarantee that your computer's display of the colour accurately reflect the colour of the Products.

  • The Products you receive may vary slightly from images on this website. 

  • We cannot guarantee the colour or pattern matching from item to item .

  • It is possible that there may be minor differences due to the natural production of the products, these differences are not manufacturing faults. 

  • When You are purchasing furniture from Davies & Co you are buying pieces where varying degrees of distressing is generally applied. This is very much intended and makes each piece totally individual. We sell rustic designs with varying degrees of distressing from piece to piece; this may involve wood splits, wood filling, knots, purpose distress/scratch marks, these are not faults in the products.

  • All Our teak, reclaimed wood and natural wood products appearances may vary.

  • Some woods will mellow with age and exposure to sunlight.

  • Davies & Co can not be liable for products hung over a heat source and natural products should be slowly acclimatised to your home (as they can come from a cold warehouse) if these steps aren't followed our natural products may dry out further and cause twisting, cracking and movement in the product.

  • Leather Products are made from quality natural leather and accordingly they may not be uniform in colour or texture and may exhibit traces of natural markings such as scars and bites, these are not faults. Cow hide & Goat hide - Over time hairs will loosen on these items we can't be liable for hair loss on these products. 

  • All Products shown on our site are subject to availability. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if the Product you have ordered is not available and we will not process your order.

  • Please call us to discuss delivery before placing your order. 

  • The prices of the products will be as quoted on our site, from time to time there may be offers promotions and discounts.

  • We take all reasonable care to ensure that the prices of products are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

  • Large Glass art and pictures are for collection only due to the delicacy of the product.


Please note:
We cannot accept an order until payment has been made in full for the products, we cannot reserve any items for collection in store without full payment. Items purchased online can only be returned online we don't offer a refund in store only a credit note.
Gift Cards and vouchers: Gift cards and vouchers are delivered by email.
